THE END IS NEAR: REACTIONS AS FUJI MUSICIAN OBESERE PERFORMS INSIDE CHURCH, CONGREGANTS RAIN POUNDS ON HIM

THE General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has advised members of his church willing to take the COVID-19 vaccine to go ahead, saying he will not hesitate to do same if it is the requirement of any country he intends to visit on evangelism.

Addressing a congregation of worshippers in the early hours of Saturday at the monthly Holy Ghost Night on October 2, 2021, the cleric said he has nothing against the vaccine as he can also take it if necessary.

Stressing that safety is of the Lord, Daddy GO cleared the air that he did not instruct members not to take the Covid-19 vaccine, adding that members who want to take the vaccine should do so instead of living in fear or doubt.

In his words: “I never said to you don’t be vaccinated, you have never heard that from me. Rather than living in fear or doubt, get vaccinated. If you believe that getting vaccinated would put your mind at rest, then go ahead.

“Daddy are you saying that you too could be vaccinated? If there are nations in the world that say I can not come to preach the gospel there because of vaccination, I will do anything for Jesus Christ.“If vaccination is going to hinder me from doing the work that God has called me to do, if they asked me to get vaccinated 10 times, I would be vaccinated.

“Don’t ever say that you hear from me that you should not be vaccinated,” the very respected cleric said adding that he broke silence many people are asking questions on the issue.

He emphasised he is man under authority, presupposing that the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, are qualified to speak such issues in his stead, hence he was addressing his children only

PURPOSE AND AMBITION IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN MARRIAGE:FRANK EDWARD
by J Sam at April 24, 2021

Frank Edward also known as Frankrichboy,is a Nigerian gospel singer, song writer, producer and enterprenuer.

He started at age 7 when he began playing the piano, then in 2007 he began to sing while also learning the rudiment of music. Frank released his debut album in 2008(the definition).

Speaking on how his ministry has affected him as an unmarried man, he had to say this; "In ministry if one wants to avoid scandals one has to be strict. One doesn't want to offend God. With me purpose and ambition are more important than marriage. When one has purpose and vision, marriage helps these things.
To be honest I wish I was married before now but I know God will help me through. I really want to get over it this year, I need to leave this club, its no longer fun having to slip into the kitchen in the middle of the night to get something to eat.

My ministry affects me sometimes and at times it doesn't. For example, before one marries someone, one need to know the person and speak to the person but a lot of times I don't find myself in cycle where I meet peopnow

Shepherd Bushiri’s followers flock to new prophet’s church

Johannesburg – Thousands of embattled Prophet Shepherd Bushiri’s supporters are moving to a new spiritual home.

At last night’s ’’Holy Ghost service’’ in Johannesburg, Prophet DD Isaac, one of Bushiri’s assembly of pastors, was the recipient of Bushiri’s multitudes.

Bushiri’s followers seemed undeterred by their leader’s troubles, with many of them still advocating his innocence. Bushiri is currently in Malawi but it is still unclear how he got there.

Isaacs said his church and that of his spiritual father (Bushiri) were determined to keep praying for their father.

“The gospel will continue to be preached in all the nations. This season will pass,” Isaacs said.

Isaacs is believed to be the man who will replace Bushiri in South Africa because he has a similar “prophetic gift”.

Bushiri, who fled South Africa for Malawi days after being granted bail, told his Facebook followers on Saturday that he was a law-abiding citizen who had no intention to evade standing trial on the fraud charges against him.

According to Bushiri, he reported the threats to various ministers and high-ranking law enforcement officials, including former state security minister Bongani Bongo and former intelligence boss Arthur Fraser, and even took the matter to police watchdog Ipid, where Bushiri claims the same police officers who he had laid complaints against subsequently arrested him for fraud committed by individuals connected to his Enlightened Christian Gathering (ECG) church.

He says that he, along with his partners, raised over R50 million to help people swindled by the unnamed individuals.

In Lilongwe, dozens of Bushiri’s followers trooped to the Lilongwe Magistrate’s Court where Bushiri and his wife Mary were expected to appear after their arrest on Wednesday morning following an Interpol warrant of arrest.

People wearing black T-shirts with the words ’’HANDS OFF BUSHIRI’’ gathered near the court's entrance.

In a statement, Malawi police spokesperson James Kadadzera says police officers launched a manhunt for the Bushiris following a warrant of arrest issued by Interpol in Pretoria on Monday this week .

Meanwhile, four lawyers have withdrawn from representing the Bushiris. Bushiri initially enlisted the services of four private lawyers – Lusungu Gondwe, Noel Chalamanda, Bright Theu and Khumbo Soko – to bring his bail application.

It is still unclear why the legal representatives withdrew from the Bushiri case.

I was once a taxi driver, says Woli Agba
by J Sam at December 09, 2020
Popular comedy skit maker and gospel comedian Ayobami Ajewole aka Woli Agba has revealed how he once worked as a taxi driver with his late father.

Agba recently shared his inspiring story to his over 3 million fans on Instagram during a live interview session.

The content creator recounted how growing up was difficult for him and how God transformed his life.

“I think for the very first time my dad heard that somebody called me a wretched boy that I am from a poor home, I think for the first time that will be the first time I saw my dad cried like a baby, my daddy cried and I was moved to tears in fact, as I remember now, I feel like shedding tears again. I have never seen him cry like that, he was crying and holding his head my mum begged him,” he began.

“I grew up in a home whereby the very first time where it looked like God has answered our prayers, somebody dashed us a car, it was a bluebird Datsun, that we should be going to the church that the distance from our house to the church was too far and he gave us a car but my dad saw the need for us to live and my dad asked a question, he said who will go and learn how to drive? I thought it was a good thing so I agreed to learn not knowing that there will still be a reason for me to bend away from my original calling.

“My dad told me there is a reason for me to become a taxi driver, I became a taxi driver because we had to eat at home in-fact my mum argued with my dad many nights that my son cannot become a taxi driver but daddy told her, that is the only thing we can do my dad is not alive today, it was too much that the only thing he could do then was that when I was going out on my taxi business my dad will seat in the car as one of the passengers just trying to monitor me so that he is going to collect money on my behalf, he will now ask me ‘car owner can I help you collect money, we were acting a drama in the car I will tell him to thank you, sir, you can help me collect it’ and he was my dad, we did that for so many months and it was going like that…I was just hoping okay it is going to be good very soon.

“One of the things I do not like to remember most times is the fact that my dad did not wait to eat all of this, I just wish he was still alive to see what God has been doing. God is faithful. So the Woli Agba you are seeing today was once a taxi driver, I have never said this in most of my interviews, this is the first time I am saying this, I keep this away from people but I was once a taxi driver.”

Gospel legend and Detroit native Fred Hammond diagnosed with COVID-19

Gospel legend Fred Hammond posted a video on Instagram Friday announcing that he had been diagnosed with COVID-19 earlier this week.

The Detroit native, 59, said in a four-minute video on Instagram that he was on day five of his quarantine as of Friday. Hammond, in his remarks, said he let his guard down once and contracted the virus. His positive test came back Monday.

“I’m a mask wearer, but I let it down (and) my guard down in one place,” said Hammond, who now lives in the Dallas area, adding a family member also caught COVID-19 and was rushed to the hospital. The unknown family member is now recuperating.

“The good thing is if this happened last year on the Commissioned tour, I probably wouldn’t have made it because I was really sick.”

Hammond, who said he expects to pull through from the illness, added he was grateful that for the first time in a decade his health was good. He has a doctor that monitors his health during the day and has three others on call to answer questions.

“I thank God for that so now this has come I have a better chance of fighting it. I still have good hope,” said Hammond, noting he has lost friends to the virus. “I’m feeling better everyday. It is what it is. You can’t worry about it. God is in control.”

Hammond is a Grammy Award winning artist in the gospel circles for more than 35 years, who peers credit as creating the urban praise and worship genre that didn’t exist in gospel music, according to his official bio.

Pastor Adeboye reacts to CAMA 2020

Pastor Adeboye reacts to CAMA 2020

General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has reacted to the Companies and Allied Matters Act, CAMA, recently signed into law by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The RCCG head joined the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, (PFN) in their position and rejected the bill too.

This was made known by RCCG’s Head of Media and Public Relations, Pastor Olaitan Olubiyi who explained that Adeboye’s opinion on the issue is not always different from whatever the umbrella bodies of Christians decide.

According to Olubiyi, Pastor Adeboye was in alignment with the stand of CAN and PFN.

The CAMA 2020 has ignited reactions from several religious stakeholders and non-governmental human rights organisations, who are opposed to its provisions.

Section 839 which empowers the Commission to suspend trustees of an association and appoint interim managers to manage the affairs of the association was largely rejected by religious bodies and NGOs.

The Christians Association of Nigeria (CAN), last week described CAMA, as satanic.

It called on President Muhammadu Buhari to halt the implementation of “the obnoxious and ungodly law until the religious institutions are exempted from it.

“Saw what China had to do to isolate enormous part of its population. My first thought was Africa. How in the world are they going to deal with this … I have been in townships all over Africa and slums … you have to go out and get your meals. You don’t have clean water to wash your hands," the philanthropist said Speaking about her family’s charity foundation and its interventions during this period, she passionately added that “it is going to be horrible in developing world and part of the reason why you are seeing the case numbers don’t look very bad is because they don’t have access to very many tests”

Melinda Gates then referred to reports of dead bodies on the streets in Ecuador and said “you are going to see that in Africa,” a comment which has sparked an outrage on social media, attracting an attack from Sonnie Badu.

Zack Orji: My life as an actor, singer and preacher of God’s word

‘I will be storming Switzerland on Monday, for a preaching engagement. And when I return to the country after one week, I will move to Calabar, where I’m expected to minister in five different churches.” This is the intriguing new life of Zack Orji since he found Christ. And this has indeed reshaped his life, and taken the shine off him as a thorough-bred actor and film producer. He’s surely living it the fullest despite any push back he might have been receiving from society.

The actor, who has acted in over 100 Nollywood movies is proud to tell anyone who cares to listen that he’s a product of God’s grace. He’s one of those rare actors who have shunned the red carpet, Nollywood parties and tightly packed schedules to win souls for Christ.
After he was ordained reverend in 2012, by Bishop Lawrence Osagie of Power Line Bible Church, the

handsome actor has not looked back in his quest to work in the vineyard of God. Since then, Zack has functioned more as a minister of God, than his face has adorned the screen again. In fact, every now and then, the actor moves from one church to the other within and outside the shores of the country, preaching the gospel of salvation. He had preaching engagement in various churches such as Shepherd House Assembly in Makurdi, Lafia, Abuja and the diaspora.
Like most of his colleagues, including Iyabo Ogunsola a.k.a Efunsetan Aniwura, Eucharia Anunobi, Charles Okafor among others, Zack has dedicated his time to preaching the gospel of good tidings across the nations of the world.Right now, the dream of star of “Glamour Girls” becoming a full minister of God became a reality after he was officially ordained pastor by Bishop Lawrence Osagie. He had continued with his inspirational style of reaching out which has exposed him to frequent travelling all over the world, preaching the word of God.
The actor seems to be growing stronger and deeper in faith. “I’m still winning souls for Christ,” he responded, while in chat with our reporter at the weekend. No doubt, he’s getting busier every passing day with the work of God even as it’s affecting his acting career. But Zack, however, believes that both acting and winning souls for Chris are a calling. “Each of them is a calling. We use our work as celebrities to also minister to people.”
“ In 2002, I was in the Democratic Republic of Congo. I went to worship in a church on a Sunday there. When I entered the church and the congregation recognized me. I was sitting at the back but when they sighted me the youths raised me on their shoulders, and carried me to the altar.” “That was how the pastor knew I was around. But he said one thing that amazed me – that Nigerians don’t know what their films are doing for them. He said that they use our films to preach to the people in church,” the actor said.
But aside preaching the word of God, Zack Orji has also made his mark as a front-line actor in Nigeria. Only recently, he added singing to his trade. For the actor, he’s a product of God’s unstoppable grace. He acknowledged this rare gift last year, when he reminisced on his journey into Nollywood, and his meteoric rise to the top.
Sharing his success story on the Whatsapp group, Filmic, Zack said “When I reminisce on my journey into Nollywood, and my meteoric rise to the top, I always come to the conclusion that it was by God’s unstoppable grace.”
God, he continued “used a group of young, creative and good-natured such as Matthias Obahiagbon, Emmanuel Oguguah, Obi Osotule and Ken Madiebo to give me my first shot as a professional actor. “My friend, Ekenna Igwe introduced me to Matthias among others to help me source Shea-nuts and Cocoa. They had just finished the script of a movie titled ‘’The Unforgiven Sin.’ I expressed my interest in starring in it. They listened to me, took a good look at my person, and without hesitation gave me the script to read for the leading role.
“When I returned after three days, they assigned the character Chuka, the leading role to me. That first shot they gave me earned me a nomination for Best Actor in the first movie awards( THEMA AWARDS ). It shot me into the limelight and made me one of the most sought after actors in Nollywood.”
“Thereafter, my first opportunity as a producer was also given to me on a platter of gold by Cosmos Ndulue, the CEO of Contec Ventures Ltd, the company that marketed “The Unforgiven Sin.” The same Cosmos Ndulue recommended me to Dozie Eriobu of Infinity Merchants a year later; and, stood as my guarantor when I needed N500,000,00 to complete the shooting of my own movie ‘’Return To Kazondia’’ in 1997. “
“Since then, by God’s unstoppable grace and enablement, I have created opportunities for at least 5,000 young people desirous of a career in film making and music to receive free training in Acting, Costume Designing, Script Writing, Cinematography, Film Production and Vocal Development through the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs and my former church Powerline Bible Church, where I was in charge of Youth Development.”
Some of these youngsters have turned around to employ me in their movie projects. I’m here today because they were there for me yesterday,” he wrote.
Zack revealed that he has mentored many young ones both in Nigeria and beyond. Some of these young ones have turned around to employ the actor in their productions. His humility, patience and acting skills have been his mainstay in the industry. Since breaking into the industry, after the role he played in his debut movie, “ Unforgiven” in 1991, Zack Orji has remained the preference of many film producers and directors till date. His fans are still talking about the role he played in that early 90s movie, “ Glamour Girls.” Many would argue that the history of Nollywood today cannot be complete without the mention of Zack Orji who has been described as exceptionally gifted and talented Nigerian actor. He is a true legend, creative, and prolific with over 200 Nollywood movies to his credit including Above Death, Unforgiven Sins, Games Women Play, Zonal Leader, All My Life, Head Gone, Three Wise Men, Beson’s Villa, Half of a Yellow sun, Bridge of No Return, Mama Africa, Heritage and several others.
Unlike other born-again actors who turn down certain roles considered to be contrary to their faith, Zack Orji accepts any role assigned him. He believes that an actor is an interpreter who interprets a drama and who should fit into any movie role. After a while, the actor staged a comeback to acting recently, featuring the new edition of Oasis : The Enemy Within.”
Interestingly, music runs in Zack Orji’s family. While his son, and his wife are singers, Zack recently delved into music. And he’s on the verge of releasing his debut single, which is a gospel song.
“Singing runs in my family. My wife is a singer as well as my son. I also sing,” the actor enthused.
Being one of the prides of Nollywood, Zack Orji has paid his dues. His advise to budding actors is that they should discover where their talents are and build on them

Gospel singer sues Rev. Obofour for Illegally using her song to promote all night service

The management of Ghanaian gospel singer, Celestine Donkor, is dragging Rev Obofuor to court, over what it describes as an unlawful act on the path of the man of God

This is a new development after Celestine Donkor’s management raised copyright concerns over the founder of the Anointed Chapel Palace using the gospel singer’s song “Agbebolo” (Bread Of Life), to promote his 31st December Watch Night Service without seeking for authorization.

After months of both parties not reaching an agreement on any settlement outside the court over the copyright issues, the manager and husband of Celestine Donkor, Mr Kofi Donkor has now made it known that they’ve put in the needed work to meet the affluent yet controversial Obofour in court.“Dear Rev Obofour, I write to you not as one of your followers and a beneficiary of your ‘generosity’ but as the executive producer of the song you used to promote your 31st December watch night service WITHOUT permission.”

We are not going to ‘hell’ but we are going to the courts to seek justice. Just so you know, we have a date on Wednesday. But this time it is an order for you to appear before the Criminal Court. This is just for the commencement of the Criminal aspect of your unlawful act. Also, note that the Civil suit will soon commence.

We did everything to get you to address this illegality but you know we are nobodies and so you retreated us with gross disrespect. Justice will prevail. Like they say “the wheel of justice grind slowly”, We shall surely have Justice!

See you in Court!!!
