THE REVELATION BEHIND “BE FRUITFUL AND MULTIPLY”
Be fruitful and multiply is what God says but a fruit wont just showcase except something’s has taken place
Before we talk of fruit, we talk of tree, and before a tree will become a tree it takes many processes and time. A tree wont just disappear, moreover it takes a full grown tree to be fruitful, a tree can’t bear fruit when it not the time for the tree to. The mystery behind it is you can’t multiply until you are fruitful. The fruit you produce brings multiplication. Multiplication brings good life and fulfillment.
The process of a tree becoming a tree is so much and I will translate it how it affects mankind
A tree can’t stand on air right? It needs a land to stand on or to be rooted, the land symbolizes “Faith”, the level of faith you have, will determine the level of your fruitfulness and multiplication, the more fertile your land is, will determine the rigidity of the tree and fruits it will produce. Land is so essential when it comes to farming, there is nothing to produce if there is no land, there is nothing to produce if you lack faith, your first production comes from faith, when you get a land you might not even know what kind of plant you want to produce. That’s why faith is the substance of thing hope for the evidence of things not seen; you only got faith you don’t know what to produce, but the faith alone has guaranteed your fruitfulness the land alone as guarantee that something will surely be produced from it. The measurement of the land you have will determine the limitation of your production. Someone with one plot of land and someone with one acre of land, you can’t compare the production or the harvest, that means the bigger your land is the higher the production, faith has measurement, Jesus said if your faith can be as small as a “mustard seed” it can be bigger than that though, but that alone tells us that faith has measurement, you don’t have to limit your faith to the size of mustard seed increase the size cause the larger your land the higher the production, the bigger your faith the bigger the fruit. Let me quickly tell you why the fruit brings multiplication.
Let view it in a physical aspect, only those who doesn’t know how essential fruit is to man’s life will not go for it. Fruit has so many advantages, it medicinal, selling it brings more profit and fruit gives good health and it also food for mankind. Now you see where multiplication comes in, man life depends on these things listed. All this multiplication profit goes back to the one that has produced the fruit. Absolutely God wants us to be blessed abundantly and to be blessing to generation but there is no way we can be this until we produce fruit. That is why he said “Be “fruitful” and multiply” Genesis 1 vs 22, Genesis 1 vs 28. The first word God said creating Man was to be fruitful and multiply. It wasn’t a commandment, it was a blessing that means immediately God created us, immediately we were formed from the womb, he already blessed us with the power to be fruitful and to multiply, and everyone can be. He is always happy when he sees His sons and daughter being fruitful, He blesses them the more, but he causes those that has refused to bear fruit, Jesus gave an example of that, {bible verse}.
Fruitfulness simply means production, every way you can be productive, the first miracle Jesus did was to “produce” wine from water then He multiplied it to make us know how serious it is to be fruitful and to multiply. No matter the kind of life you are living if you are yet to be fruitful you are barren.
The larger the land the higher the quantity of fruits, the bigger your faith, the higher productive you become.
Tilling the Land simply means working on your faith, building foundation. giving your tree a good foundation. What foundation is your faith rooted, Jesus of a good foundation, the author and finisher of our faith. Your seed will not grow into a big tree if the seed is not planted in a well tilled ground is tilled ground, it can easily be washed away by erosion.
“Before planting the seed check if the land is fertile enough” if not work on the land to make it fertile. Before planting your seed, check if your faith is good enough for the seed to have a proper growth, however, if not make your land fertile, boost your faith listen to word of God. “faith cometh by hearing and hearing the word of God”. Read the word of God. It as so much impact in mans life. It is so important that your have a very strong faith and believes in yourself. That is the first assurance of your production how fast and sound it will be after you are sure of the tillage and the land being fertile enough, “plant your seed”
The seed: the seed simply means your talent, your calling, your gift, anything you have that you believe it should reproduce. There is different between burying your seed and planting your seed. Some seed are being buried while some are planted. A seed is useless until it being planted, people don’t care for the seed, those who cares, probably wants to make it a tree. Apparently, “know the kind of seed you have”, two things you should note, some seeds {your talent, your caling, your gift, anything you have that you believe it should reproduce} are seasonal while some are which not, which one is yours? The way a mango seed is planted is different from the way a watermelon is planted. Identify your gift, your talent, your calling, you don’t have to look how other went about theirs or how successful they have become, you don’t have the same seed, don’t get jealous about others fruit because yours will surely produce, yours might take more time than theirs or more process it doesn’t matter, what matters is the fruit. Your seed is all you have to be fruitful and to multiply, so many of us left our seed behind and keep helping others to grow theirs. Yes I mean working for someone when you should be working on yourself or them working for you. I never said working for someone is bad, but you’ve neglected your own gift, calling, your vision and you now focus all others peoples calling, giving them more edge to yield more fruits. Your seed is dying.
Before God blesses you to be fruitful and multiply, He must have given you a seed that bears fruit. After knowing the kind of seed you have {I believe by now we should know what the seed signifies}, “Get more knowledge about the seed”. The seed is new to you, all you got is faith that this seed will bring fault fruit, but you don’t know the kind of fruit it will produce, you don’t even know how many years it will take. You might wanna ask what if people don’t know about your seed? Well, it is possible in some cases, and if that be the case, what you do is to “seek the face of He that knows all even before you were created” He has given you the seed, He should know all about it, seek the face of God concerning your seed {talent, your calling, your gift, anything you have that you believe it should reproduce} He has so many things to say concerning it. The reason why we don’t get good results or outcome from our talent, your calling, your gift, anything you have that you believe it should reproduce is because we don’t have enough knowledge about it and we tend to do it in our way don’t forget “Knowledge is Power” 2Chronicle 1:12 “wisdom and knowledge is granted ubto thee, and I will give thee riches and wealth and honour such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like. Proverb 8:10. Receive my instruction, and not silver and Knowledge rather than choice gold., so many people that we see out there glowing and producing more is not because they know it all but they always seek and search for knowledge, not about any other thing, but about their own seed {your talent, your calling, your gift, anything you have that you believe it should reproduce} specifically. Google is good, Wikipedia is ok, but why not ask God that knows it all, he will speak and also show you how to go about your fruitfulness and multiplication.
Sow your seed, simply means a process of planting of seed that means “working on your talent, your calling, your gift, anything you have that you believe it should reproduce ‘in faith” don’t forget the land means Faith. This time your seed hasn’t become a tree yet, it needs to be refine, this is the period where you take your talent, your calling, your gift, anything you have that you believe it should reproduce to the secret place, invest time and every other things that needs to be invested, build it, all the knowledge you gather, this is the time to implement it. I remember when I started music, I only knew how to sing then, I love singing, nobody knew me, then was the time I sowed seed {your talent, your calling, your gift, anything you have that you believe it should reproduce} it took time, I rehearsed, I disciplined myself, I don’t eat what others eats, I was discouraged, when others were busy catching fun I would be in church rehearsing, I spent most night outside, I prayed and fasted, people said it was a waste of time and energy, I never listen to them, I sowed my seed in faith, doing expensive rehearsals, getting music materials (financial Investment), eventually I didn’t even know when I started playing the piano, I just found myself playing piano, nobody knew me then but I knew that time was my time for sowing, it took time I never got discouraged until a day came when I was needed in a particular church and they don’t mind paying any amount, I knew then that my seed was germinating. Enough of my story, but I believe you now understand what it means to sow seed. Let’s go Biblical, Jesus sowed seed
Matthew 3;11-16 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear. He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire.
12: whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor and gather his wheat into the garner, but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.
13: then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him
14: but John forbad him saying, I have need to be baptized of thee and comest thou to me?
15: and Jesus answering said unto him, “Suffer it to be so Now”, for thus it becometh us to fulfill all righteousness. Then he suffered him.
Why will a whole son of God be baptized, He that can baptize with Fire humbled Himself to be baptized, that time must be a time of sowing for him, He had to work on Himself, he understood the revelation of fruitfulness that you have to sow the seed, he was getting prepared, he said Suffer it to be so “Now”, that means that is His own time of sowing. Jesus fasted for forty days and forty night Matthew 4:2, why? He was preparing {i.e sowing your seed is the time of preparation} for the things yet to be done He need to build the spirit man because He is Spirit. When overcome temptation not because He was a son of God this time, but Because he was prepared. Sow your seed perfectly.
